Full Membership

Full Membership of the Derby Magic Circle is designed for people with magic performance skills, knowledge of the history of magic and a passion for protecting and promoting the art of magic.

 

Derby Magic Circle Members will have the opportunity to hone their skills, explore their craft in more depth, and access the support of fellow magicians and professionals.

Full Members enjoy a range of benefits including:

  • Access to the full programme of Derby Magic Circle Events plus Open and Closed Meetings

  • Lectures, workshops and magic demonstrations

  • A copy of “The Sourcerer” magazine delivered directly to your inbox

  • Feedback from other magicians and access to a knowledgeable “test audience”

  • Opportunities to perform to the public

  • Exposure to other professionals in the magic and allied industries

  • A chance to enjoy the company of others with a similar area of interest

Full Membership: currently £50 per annum.

How to become a Full Member

To become a Full Member of the Derby Magic Circle you firstly need to express your interest then complete an application form. You will then be invited to perform a 15 minute audition in your chosen area of magic or knowledge.

Associate Membership

If you’d love to become a Full member of Derby Magic Circle, but aren’t quite ready to take the audition then Associate Membership could be perfect for you. Ideal for beginner or training magicians, Associate Membership offers exciting opportunities and a route in to membership of the Derby Magic Circle.

 

Alongside all the benefits of Full Membership, Associated Membership also offers you access to feedback, mentorship and advice to help you improve your skills and work towards becoming ready for your audition.

Associate Membership: currently £50 per annum

How to become an Associate Member

To become an Associate Member of the Derby Magic Circle you firstly need to express your interest then complete an application form. You will then be invited to a short interview with the executive to determine that an associate membership is suitable for you.
